Located in Lincoln, Rhode Island, Amica Insurance is home to approximately 1,500 hourly and salaried employees (mainly white collar). This Work-Fit Center is designed to bring fitness and wellness programs to the employees, rehabilitation services are not provided at this particular site. The center includes cardiovascular equipment, weight training equipment, and group exercise classes to benefit the members overall physical health. Individual exercise prescriptions, blood pressure screenings and body composition testing are also available to participating members to monitor their progress. Lifestyle change, diet and nutrition, and prevention of disease information are provided to assist in moving the members towards optimal health. |

The position will assist the Program Manager in the following areas of operations: 1.Supervision and development of fitness and conditioning programs for employees 2.Injury prevention programming 3.Implementation of wellness programming (i.e. Newsletter articles and bulletin board presentations on health and exercise topics) 4.Collection of data pertinent to required records for fitness/wellness and injury prevention programming 5.Equipment supervision and facility up-keep 6.Adherence to all client-required safety and environmental policies 7.Adherence to the Amica Work-Fit Centers Standard Operating Procedures 8.Consistently available to work 15-20 hours per week with flexibility to work various weekdays (Monday-Friday) QUALIFICATIONS: |
