Business Development Manager (North of England)

?40k - ?50k basic plus ?20k OTE and car allowance

As part of Investment Funds Direct Limited (founded 1982), Ascentric's 'Wrap' platform enables Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) to view value and trade client investment portfolios. The technology we provide gives customers a clearer picture of how their entire portfolio is performing, putting them in control of their investments through their IFA.

Our goal is to be the independent wrap platform of choice. We strive to achieve this by constantly listening to our clients, by focusing on service delivery and by constantly improving the breadth and depth of our platform proposition.

We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in the North of England. You will be responsible for executing the sales strategy to sign up IFA firms and to create pipeline. You will also actively manage business transition plans and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

  • Signing up IFA businesses to the Ascentric Wrap Platform
  • Generating leads to supplement marketing campaigns
  • Ensuring prospective IFAs fully understand the Ascentric proposition including service differentiators
  • Delivering pitches to engage firms prior to sign up and presenting at adviser sales meetings and conferences post sign up
  • Coordinating and completing client segmentation and asset transition processes to effectively integrate and embed the Wrap Platform
  • Communicating with senior stakeholders around progress against the business plan
  • Providing ongoing account management activity including promotion and communication of new functionality

Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience of the financial advice market place
  • An understanding of the Wrap Platform market
  • A track record of working with IFA firms on strategic change
  • Experience of web enabled applications and an understanding of the main IFA Back Office systems in the market
  • A self starter with enthusiasm and commercial acumen
  • Excellent consultative selling skills with a results driven orientation and strong track record of achievements of sales markets
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Articulate with high quality presentation skills
